These painted drawings are very much works in progress; they currently exist as single individual objects, I intend for them to begin to group together and form a situation. I think I am building a pallette of objects.
Some new rose drawings in white and yellow. I've worked on them in more detail than I did previous roses, which I think has teh effect of making them a little more life-like.
These roses were drawn from some that I bought from a flower stall in East London. I painted them using diluted poster paint then glued the roses to cardboard and cut them out, creating a raised effect.
I bought
a plastic skeleton from eBay and began drawing it.
There's so much you can do with a skeleton, theyr're potentially as physically articulate as a living human.
As I develop my drawing colour is appearing.
Using colour gives me the option of creating my own world of objects, which I can experiment with and use to test out ideas and develop my artwork.
